Can I use Max for Live devices on a DAW other than Ableton?
Unfortunately this is not possible. Max for Live is an environment unique to Ableton Live. With enough support, we might consider building a VST application compatible with all DAWs.
I am having trouble with one of your devices, what can I do?
Try finding the documentation from where you downloaded the device, we try to be comprehensive with known issues so this would be the best place to start.
If this does not solve your issue, on the download page you can also find a link to user submitted issues. Try scanning through those and if you think it to be appropriate, submit a new issue.

You will need Max 8.3 or higher to run this Max for Live patch, if you have an up-to date version of Live 11 (11.2.7 at the time of writing) this should be the default. If you're using Live 9/10, please follow the official Ableton instructions to meet the requirements.
